On December 8, students and lecturers of Poltava Oil and Gas College hosted an online meeting with an alumnus of Poltava Polytechnic – the Head of the Well Fastening Department of Weatherford Ukraine -  Oleksandr Firsunin – on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic ".

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to get information about the main activities of the company, get acquainted with the design features of oil and gas equipment and ask questions about the professional growth of the company's employees.

Such meetings have already become traditional, they contribute to the modernization of the educational process and form students' interest in the future profession, the secrets of life and professional success. Communicating with representatives of well-known companies, students realize the importance of professional knowledge in future careers.

Olexander Firsunin also shared his memories of his years of study at Poltava Polytechnic, the knowledge and skills gained, which became the basis for the formation of his professionalism.
