10 Years of "Eastern Partnership"
On June 25-26, the Head of Liberal art subjects department Ihor Rudenko and teacher of English language Sophia Rudenko took part in the conference "Promoting common values through education and culture", held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The main purpose of the conference was to analyze the peculiarities of the functioning of the Eastern Partnership over the past decade, to grasp the achievements of this initiative, and to discuss potential scenarios for its further development, taking into account the actual trends of international politics.
Among the already invited speakers were representatives of all six countries-participants of the Eastern Partnership: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine; researchers from European Union countries, in particular Jean Monnet program participants; representatives of both EU institutions and state authorities of Ukraine; leaders of civil society in order to provide a comprehensive reflection on key achievements and the main challenges of the Eastern Partnership.
Among the main tasks of the present time were highlighted: ensuring academic integrity, increasing the level of media literacy among young people, introducing inclusive education and providing a key role for teachers to instill in the future generations of universal values.
